mSpy checks the backup on the iCloud account connected to the iPhone/iPad you are monitoring and uploads the new backup once it is available.
iPhones/iPads automatically back up to iCloud once a day (every 24 hours) when the phone is locked, connected to Wi-Fi, and connected to a charger. This usually happens at night.
The ideal scenario is:
- iPhone backed up to iCloud on May, 22nd at night
- mSpy uploaded the backup on May, 22nd
- iPhone backed up to iCloud on May 23rd at night
- mSpy uploaded the backup on May, 23rd
- and so on…
Another possible scenario:
- iPhone backed up to iCloud on May, 22nd at night
- mSpy uploaded the backup on May, 22nd
- iPhone did not back up to iCloud on May 23rd
- mSpy did not upload the backup on May, 23rd
- iPhone did not back up to iCloud on May 24th
- mSpy did not upload the backup on May, 24th
- iPhone backed up to iCloud on May 25th
- mSpy uploaded the backup on May 25th.
This May 25th backup includes the information gathered from May 23rd up to May 25th.
Make sure that the iCloud backup is enabled on the monitored phone.
