You can hide the mSpy icon during the installation process on any version of iOS. To hide the "checkra1n" / "unc0ver" and "Cydia" icons, you need to follow different steps depending on the iOS version running on the monitored device.
Here is a guide to check the iOS / iPadOS version.
If the monitored iPhone is running on iPadOS / iOS 14.0 - 14.5
You can remove any icon on iOS / iPadOS 14 devices without installing any apps.
Follow these steps:
1. Touch and hold the app on the Home Screen to open a quick actions menu.
2. Tap "Remove App" > "Remove from Home Screen".
Please note that the app icons will still be reachable via Search and in App Library.
If the monitored iPhone is running on iPadOS / iOS 13.7 and lower
To hide the "checkra1n" and "Cydia" icons, you need to download a separate app called "XB-Hide".
Please note that:
1) The "XB-Hide" app itself will be visible in the "Settings" app of the phone. It's not possible to hide it.
2) The "checkra1n" / "unc0ver" and "Cydia" apps will disappear from the Home Screen, but they will be reachable via Search.
Follow these steps to hide the "checkra1n" and "Cydia" icons:
1. Open "Cydia".
2. Tap "Search" in the bottom right corner.
3. Find "XB-Hide" and tap "Install".
4. Tap "Confirm".
5. Wait until the installation process is finished. Tap "Restart SpringBoard".
6. Go to "Settings".
7. Scroll down, find and tap "XBHide".
8. Switch on the toggles called "Enable" and "Enable SpringBoard".
9. Tap "Hide icons".
10. Select the icons you want to hide.
11. Go back.
12. Tap "Respring".
13. Tap "OK". The icons will be removed from the Home Screen.
