mSpy may be suspended by the battery saving mode running on the device. Please follow these guidelines for the most popular Android devices to prevent that.
Samsung
If you are not sure which Android version is installed on the device you are monitoring you can check it in Settings -> About phone -> Software information.
Samsung - Android 9
- Go to Settings -> Apps
- Find and tap Update Service -> Battery
- Turn on Allow background activity and tap Optimize battery usage
- Tap Apps not optimized -> All
- Find and tap Update Service -> turn it off
- Go back to Apps -> Update Service and tap Mobile data
- Enable Allow app while Data saver on
- Go back to Settings -> find and tap Device care
- Tap Battery -> tap three dots in the upper right corner -> Settings
- Turn off Notification, Adaptive battery, Put unused apps to sleep, Auto disable unused apps
Samsung - Android 10
- Go to Settings -> Apps
- Find and tap Update Service -> Battery
- Turn on Allow background activity and tap Optimize battery usage
- Tap Apps not optimized -> All
- Find and tap Update Service -> turn it on
- Go back to Apps -> Update Service and tap Mobile data
- Enable Allow app while Data saver on
Xiaomi
- Go to Settings > Manage Apps > Update Service
- Turn on Autostart
- Tap Battery Saver and tap No restrictions
- Go to Settings > Battery & Performance > Battery optimization
- Click on the Settings icon in the top right corner
- Tap Turn off mobile data when device is locked > Never
- Tap Clear cache when device is locked > Never
- Turn off Battery drain notifications
- Go to home screen
- Find an app called Security
- Click on the Settings icon in the top right corner
- Tap Boost speed > Lock apps
- Turn on Update Service
- Go back to Security > Settings
- Tap Cleaner
- Turn off Remind to clean and Update automatically
- Go back
- Tap Security scan
- Turn off Auto updates
Huawei
- Go to Settings > Apps and notifications > Apps
- Tap the Settings icon at the top
- Tap Special access > Battery optimization
- Tap Not allowed > All apps
- Find and tap Update Service > Don’t Allow
- Go back to Settings
- Tap Battery > Launch
- Find and disable Update Service. After that you will see a pop-up notification and you would need to allow all of those three options.
- Go back to Settings > Apps and notifications > Apps
- Find and tap Update Service
- Tap Battery > enable Keep running after screen off
- Go back to Settings > Apps and notifications > Apps
- Find and tap Update Service
- Tap Power usage details > disable Power consumption alert
Android One Device (Google Pixel, Motorola One, etc.)
- Go to Settings > Apps & Notifications > See all apps
- Find and tap Update Service
- Go to Mobile data & Wi-fi > turn on Unrestricted data usage
- Go back to Settings -> find and tap Data saver
- Go to Unrestricted data > find and enable Update Service
