QuickSupport is a mobile app by TeamViewer that allows you to receive remote support on your mobile device. Once installed and opened, provide our technician with the QuickSupport ID displayed on the main screen. The agent will send you a connection request, which you must accept for the support session to begin.
The guide below will help you to install QuickSupport on a Samsung device:
- Open Play Store and search for TeamViewer QuickSupport > Install.
- Open TeamViewer QuickSupport > Agree and continue
- Press Continue
- Press Let´s get started!
- Please provide the QuickSupport ID to our agent to initiate remote assistance.
- Click on Verify User to allow the connection.
- Mark that you trust this person and click Allow Access to proceed.
- Press Start now
- Press While using the app, once these steps are complete, the Android phone will be ready for remote assistance.
QuickSupport installation on other Android phones
- Open Play Store and search for TeamViewer QuickSupport > Install.
- Open TeamViewer QuickSupport > Agree and continue
- Press Continue
- Press Let´s get started!
- Please provide the QuickSupport ID to our agent so they can initiate remote assistance.
- Click on Verify User to allow the connection.
- Mark that you trust this person and click Allow Access to proceed.
- Press Start now
- Press While using the app, once these steps are complete, the Android phone will be ready for remote assistance.
- Tap Download Add-On Universal when prompted, it will redirect you to the Google Play Store to download and install the add-on.
- Install Add-on Universal
- After installing Universal Add-On, return to the QuickSupport app and press Enable
- Turn on permission for Teamviewer Add-on
After installing and granting permissions for the Universal Add-On, return to the QuickSupport app. You should now be able to provide the QuickSupport ID to the remote technician and allow full control for the session.
